in the world. Things that remain constant is what gay men

it may be a shock to them. Sometimes it’s rough, sometimes

Gay men can be flambouyant or masculine. We don’t like
the word straight-acting. What does straight-acting mean anyways?
Does it mean that gay men have to act to make sure they don’t
stand out? Being masculine is just a personality trait …
not acting and no false perceptions there. Flambouyancy is another
definition for feminine. Nothing wrong with gay men expressing
their inner feelings and personality!
Gay men also have a lot of disposable income. And gay men are
not afraid to spend it all! From online shopping to personals
to travel, gay men spend a lot on themselves, their relationships
and friends. No wonder there are so many companies marketing

Gay men have often flocked to gay friendly cities. These include
San Francisco, New York, Rio, Paris, Montreal and Vancouver.
Many of these cities of gay pride parades during the summer
for gay men. Other events during the year also promote gay travel.
These include gay ski weeks, gay camping tours and gay luxury
travel to name a few.
Sports that gay men enjoy playing include volleyball, basketball,
hockey, baseball, kayaking and swimming. Many gay men keep fit
by going to the gym or to yoga. It’s great that many men
look out for their health and even better that they keep fit.
For many gay men all the muscles and sweat are just bi-products
of keeping in shape.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many true monotonous relationships
out there. As men are, gay men find ways to flirt and meet new
gay friends. In some cases, sleeping with another man is expected.
However, this is usually the exception as gay men do have a
conscience and a great deal or respect for their partners.

For many gay men, coming out has been an uphill battle. Coming
out to friends and especially family have been rather tough
because of the possibility of rejection by loved ones. One thing
to remember is that true family and friends will always love
you for who you are. And if they don’t, they don’t
have enough respect for you or for any other gay man in the
world.
